New John Peel Site

A Peel A Day:

Yup there’s a new kid in town with plenty of John Peel files to download. Make room in your bookmarks for A Peel A Day. Over to Chris…

“I’ve just unearthed about 8gb of Peel shows that I recorded direct from DAB around 2002/2003. They’re mostly complete shows with a few partial ones where the radio connection died – quality is generally pretty good. I’ve set up a blogspot blog to start posting them to – peeladay.blogspot.com.

Cheers
Chris”

The site also states, “New shows will be posted sometime around 10pm GMT on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Just like old times.” Nice touch Chris. Good to have you along :D

So go and say hello to the lad and get downloading.

Great news, someone to take up the slack while my severe case of lazyitis continues!

While we’re at it, I’ve posted PODCAST #2 on FiS.

If Peel were alive, he’d no doubt be turning in his grave.

‘Does he really need to leave so many blody comments’, I hear you say.

In case you hadn’t noticed, Yank Sizzler has joined Dandelion Radio.

I need to search for that one. Not close to hand. May have to remind me again if you don’t see it within a week or so.

Have you checked Jon’s site? Specifically the ‘Rewound’ page of links. I seem to remember seeing it there.

I can also recommend this site, as it seems to fill several gaps. Can’t have enough Peel.
E-mail me Gary if you have the time as I’d love to know how things are going with you.
