Ivor Cutler RIP

Sadly we lost the magificent and towering wordsmith, poet, musician and all-round good-egg IVOR CUTLER – he was 83. Veteran of 21 John Peel Sessions, he was a firm favourite of John’s and us, his listeners.

Best to let the man speak for himself so I shall upload something shortly after a rummage in my drives! The link(s) shall go here:

Another Member Of The Peel Web Family

And so we welcome a new site into the fold. Actually a phoenix from the flames so to speak. Dubster – for that is he – started the site on blogger last year. Called the The John Peel Tape and File Project, it now has a new web address, which you should add to your bookmarks pronto.

He currently has a download from that golden year 1975 featuring an Ivor Cutler Session. Damn good way to kick off if you ask me.
